Line Spacing poor since site redesign

Ever since the forum redesign happened the text display on posted messages is difficult to read, as the intended line spacing is not retained after posting.
For example, here is what a reply looks like when I’m currently typing it; notice the line spacing gaps I’ve highlighted in red between paragraphs and immediately after the last item in a list (bulleted or numbered):
Yet once I complete the post the viewed text is smashed together with the line spacing significantly reduced, especially after a list.
This may seem like a minor issue but it makes replies for posts to read as well as prevent us from padding additional line breaks (which are ignored in the finished result) when attempting to make posts with code or other example text more readable. (It was much easier to read prior to the adoption of the Metro look.)
