When you are using Project server with project professional then you can not configure calendar from MS project professional.
You have to open Calendar from Server setting then either you can create new calendar or configure changes, exceptions for the calendar.
When you connect MPP from project server and create project then you have to choose project calendar. You can not specify calendar timing or exception form MPP.
This is because when you connect MPP from project server you can not use Enterprise data not the local one like custom field, look up,calendar etc

Open MPP do not connect it from Server (Choose profile computer then check the same for all the 5 task)
Then Connect MPP from Server and check again,
This issue is because of Setting either on MPP or Calendar working time on enterprise calendar.
I am suspecting Hours per day is not 8 hours either in calendar or in MPP. Open MPP --> File --> Options --> Schedule ( Check the Calendar option for project) also check MPP --> File --> Options --> Schedule (Calculation option for this project)
If Tasks are auto schedule then check the Task information --> Advanced setting. Check if any any constraint is applied.Check if nay task calendar is applied.
If you are assigning resources to the task then check the resource calendar and availability other wise leave it

Thank you for coming back to me, the next problem
When assigning a calendar to 4 or 5 tasks it will work great for the first three and on the 4th and 5th task it shifts to the next day, all five tasks duration is 1 hr and are have default FS task type, there are more than enough working hours in a day, so why does it shift the last 2 tasks to the next day
Can you help me on this
