    I have a backup of my data from Money99 and would like to restore this backup on Money Plus..

    When I try to restore the backup of Backup of Money99 show me a error about path. " The path name is invalid. Please use a valid path name."

    I would like to know if it's possible to restore a backup of Money99 in Money Plus version

    This answer would apply if you are using a US version of Money 98: You may or may not have to go thru an intermediate version. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913108/en-us 

    If you are using a non-US version of Money, that would not apply. The following would apply in any case, such as if you were restoring your Money 98 file to the same Money 98 version that has been installed on a different compter:

    When you do a restore, do not restore to the "default location". Instead Browse to your Documents folder, and choose a name. The old path (location) probably does not exist on the new machine.

    Once inside your restored file, change the folders for the two kinds of backups to your Documents folder also.

    I made the mistake of answering as if you were using a US version of Money 98. You normally cannot  use the files mentioned in  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913108/en-us nor Money Plus Deluxe with an international or UK version.
