Question
-
I have a question about what command to use in a DOS batch file, running in the Windows 10 Command Prompt window, which emulates DOS.
What forum?
Thanks

Windows 10 does not support DOS. Windows 10 Command Prompt windows do however support most of the commands supported by DOS so people erroneously call them DOS windows.
Note that scripts can do everything that batch files can do plus more. TechNet has a website for scripts; see Script Center Home Page. you can ask in the Microsoft Community about that, the same as what Dave Patrick specified.

Hi NickBAA,
Your real/final question is not "where the forum is?", but batch file itself.
Explain what you want to do in your batch file and provide your code/script in it.

We are not supposed to provide answers in this forum. So it is often acceptable to be vague here, unlike most any other forum. In this forum, the final question is supposed to be "where the forum is?".
