    Hello,

    I have a question regarding compatibility in this case it's backwards compatibility. If i create a ASP.NET MVC project in VS 2017 will the project work if it's opened in VS 2015? I'm asking this due to having an assignment to complete, but my lecture is using VS 2015 and I'm a bit afraid that it won't work on his device.

    You open the solution VS2015 it will work from what I have experienced. You can also post to the MVC forums in the ASP.NET forums.

    You can also install VS2015 Community on  the  machine and test it yourself.
