Plugin Registration Tool error : Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException: MSIS3126: Access denied. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am running Plugin Registratin tool for a  CRM 2011 On-premise Site that uses SSL and Claims based authentication.

I know that I am a deployment admin. And I verified that  the Discovery URL loads in a browser ok.

Do I need to disable Claims based authentication?

    Thanks, Peter

  • Hi

I think you would have already cross checked it, but just for a confirmation :

Is your user in CRM having admin access ? If not, does user has access to create and write plugin assembly in security roles.

  • I am a deploy admin, and a system admin for this system.

I think the problem is related to the 2 factor authentication .

    Anyone else have any ideas?

    Thanks, Peter

  • When do you get the error ? Is it when first connecting to the server, or when connecting to an organisation database ?

Can you explain why you reference 2 factor authentication ? Dynamcis CRM does not provide 2 factor authentication - do you have a spearate 2 factor authentication technology ?

  • It happens when I hit the  [connect] button.

The discover url uses ssl :  example   https://somename

The actual CRM application is https://somename/ORG

  • If this is IFD, have you tried the external url, i.e.:  https://orgname.somename.someextension to connect?
