Remote access to my files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello.
Live Sync will be discontinued and will replaced by Mesh.
I downloaded and installed, but have not found the features that interested me: the possibility to access to files on my PC by remote.
SkyDrive Synchronization is not the same thing, because the files must be copied to SkyDrive.
I would like to pick up the files that interest me directly to my PC remotely.
    I ask too much?

  • For discussion of the new Windows Live Mesh (formerly Sync), (as well as the released Live Sync version) go here:

Live Mesh, Live Sync, and Windows Live Mesh are products that provide synchronization of files between devices. Remote access of devices is also supported. You do not need to sync the data to the cloud (SkyDrive in the case of Windows Live Mesh) and can choose to sync folders between devices directly. And, if you enable Remote Access you have the ability to connect to a remote PC for files that are no synchronized between PCs.
