Upgrading Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange 2010 to MCSA 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have passed 662 and 663 giving me the MCITP Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange 2010 and was looking to see what my next step would be.  It looks like all I have to do is pass 70-417 to obtain MCSA server 2012.

See section under "Upgrade your certification to MCSA: Windows Server 2012"  http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-windows-server-mcsa.aspx

It seems too good to be true, that by only taking 662, 663, and 417 you could become MCSA 2012 as well as MCITP Exchange 2010.  Is this not correct?

Answers

  • That is correct.

MCSA certifications are entry-level certifications and their requirements are not as demanding as those for MCSE.
