Windows & Ultimate Key

Question
-
I bought a windows 7 ultimate key via ebay.co.uk for £65
The key is genuine, and my windows is activated
They person said the key is only for 1 machine, his listing was removed from ebay and I'm now having my doubts.
My Question is, Can I check if my key has been used elsewhere, can my key be blacklisted?
Thank youFriday, February 4, 2011 7:12 AM

I downloaded the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Tool
I see this under the "Licensing" Tab
"Remaining Windows rearm count 3"
What does that mean, does it meam if I format my HDD and reinstall Windows 7, will the Activate drop to 2?
Ive no idea.
here is the a little more info that was under the full licensing info...Licensing Data-->
Software licensing service version: 6.1.7600.16385Name: Windows(R) 7, Ultimate edition
Description: Windows Operating System - Windows(R) 7, RETAIL channel
Partial Product Key: **66F
License Status: Licensed
Remaining Windows rearm count: 3

Please repost the. whole report - there is nothing confidential in it (it's impossible to steal your key form the information contained in the report, although it does give MS enough data to look up its activation history)However, the rearm count has nothing to do with the number of times the system is reinstalled. It is the number of time remaining that the 'grace period' can be extended before being permanently set to non-genuine status (until activated, that is)The grace period is the time allowed before activation must occur. When installed, the system has not idea how many times it's already been installed (it's a DVD_ROM after all), as there is nothing to inform it of that.

To help us analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing, please download and run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics Tool.
Once you run the tool, click on the Continue button, then click on the Copy button and Paste the report into your post, along with your question.
Thank you!

The key is 99.999% certain to be NOT genuine. Please run an MGADiag report - that'll tell us.To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
