OCS 2007 Trial - Activation Front End with script - Error [0xC3EC7A09] Application Pool not found RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

    We have a Problem during Front-End Activation with lcscmd command :

    'activation du role MeetingIM
    ficlog=oWshShell.ExpandEnvironmentStrings("%TEMP%") & "\" & wscript.scriptname &"_role_MeetingIM.html"
    strLcsParameter=" /Web:" & serverName & OS_FOREST & _
        " /Action:Activate" & _
        " /Role:MeetingIM" & _
        " /RefDomain:" & OS_FOREST & _
        " /PDCRequired:TRUE" & _
        " /RootDC:" & DCName & OS_FOREST & _
        " /User: svocspoolrtc_c" & _
        " /Password: svocspoolrtc_c" & _
        " /Guest: svocspoolrtc_g" & _
        " /GuestPassword: svocspoolrtc_g" & _
        " /PoolName: SCPOOLRTC"
    strRunCommand=chr(34) & OCSInstalldir & "lcscmd.exe"  & chr(34) & strLcsParameter &" /l:"&ficlog
    wscript.echo strRunCommand
    owshshell.run strRunCommand,1,True
    owshshell.run ficlog,1,True

    The result error is :
    Check IIS AppPool   Application Pool: IIS://Server.site/w3svc/AppPools/LSGroupExpAppPool
    Application Pool:
    IIS://Server.site/w3svc/AppPools/LSConferencingAppPool
      Failure
    [0xC3EC7A09] Application Pool not found.

    In IIS, LSGroupExpAppPool is correctly created but LSConferencingAppPool doesn't exist ..... This bug was present in Beta3 Refresh version too.

    When we create manually this Pool, activation with script is OK.
