Header scan from previous post reappear in Preview of a new post. Please help.

  • Hi

    I can't write any new postings to my blog about old Alexandria: (Domain name etc in Beta) I posted 13 articles before I got stuck.

    I create a new article. When I go to Review the heading of the previous post: La correspondance d'un poete appears. The new scanned Header has gone.The source has:

    <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" width="700"><tbody>
          <td valign="top" width="700">
            <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1" width="698"><tbody>
                  <td valign="top" width="698"><a href="$Header[5].jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="Header" border="0" alt="Header" src="$Header_thumb[3].jpg" width="200" height="104" /></a></td>

    Returning to Edit the previous scanned header has pushed the new scanned header down the page but is invisible. Returning to Preview again the new header has disappeared and only the old 'ghost' header is there. The Source is now blank.

    I have deleted and reinstalled Live Writer.

    I have removed all Drafts and Posts placed from Live Writer.

    I have deleted all unattached media in the dashboard at Wordpress.

    The Wordpress version is the one before vs. 3.0.5  I use Suffusion Theme.

    What more can I do to fix this problem?. I am a novice in all this.

    (Loisirs is a project to recreate the last two decades of Alexandria before the Nasser revolution through scanning and publishing articles from a rare life-style magazine from the period.)

    You help will be much appreciated.
