Questions about Email Router Setup Wizrd for CRM 4.0 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    When I upgrade from version 3.0 all users have been using the Forward Mailbox for incoming emails. For version 4.0 I would like all users to be set the email router for incoming email pointing to the exchange server.

    At the moment there is no way of doing a mass update to make this change apart from using a SQL script to modify the value of the field 'incomingemaildeliverymethod' to '2' ?

    I can't seem to do this is ib the email router configuration wizard?

  • Hi Stanz,

    You can create a on demand workflow that runs against users to set the incoming and/or outgoing delivery method.  Then simply run this workflow on all users.  And if you make this an automatic on create workflow users are automatically setup ok when you create them.
