  • I just had a question pertaining to an email I recieved today. It told me that I needed to reply to it by giving my email address, password, date of birth, and country in order to keep my hotmail account running due to all cluster of accounts that are not used. I don't feel safe giving out this info. online and was wondering if this email is legit or not. Please let me know. Thanks for your time.

However, I can assure you that this is a phishing email. Delete it and any others received like it. Never send personal information via email or click a link within an email advising you to confirm your account information.
