    Your machine is too old to be able to use an OEM_SLP activation for Windows 7 - for what version and edition of Windows is it licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case? (almost certainly XP Home, I'd guess?)
    If you bought the machine with Windows 7 installed, then you were sold a counterfeit installation, and should demand a refund from the vendor
    If you purchased Windows 7, and installed it with this Key, you were sold a Recovery disk for a Dell machine that is much more recent than your own - and it will never activate.
    You need to purchase a legal Win 7 Full Retail package, or revert back to the original OS for your system.
