CRM 2013 with SharePoint 2010 hangs when creating libraries RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have a development premise instance. SharePoint Foundation 2010 and CRM 2013 SP1, on two separate servers in same domain. Appropriate grid component installed as normal and activated fine.

Setting up document management settings in CRM it validates fine but then hangs when trying to create libraries. I enabled the grid tracings in SP server as per:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/crm/archive/2010/12/21/how-to-configure-tracing-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-list-component-for-microsoft-sharepoint-server-2010.aspx

and tracing shows communication from CRM to SharePoint

but last trace entry is "user requested for document library creation" implying an authentication issue. Am running CRM on the app server in IE 11. From this server I can browse to SharePoint site and create libraries manually - so it is something with the grid component.

I had tried giving full control of the site collection to all domain users which included the one I was using in CRM but same message.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi Paul,

Did you ever get a solution for this? I have the same problem.

  • I am afraid not - in fact the requirement went away (or was deferred).

    Sorry
