CRM 2011 Import Organization fails after Rollup 16 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to import an organization and it's failing. Both the source and destination are on CRM 2011 On-Premise Rollup 16. The error message is as follows:

The organization database selected for import is a different version than the organization database that is currently deployed.

What are the correct version numbers that should be in the BuildVersion table of the organization database and the ConfigurationMetadata table in the mscrm_config database?

  • Turns out that even though Rollup 16 reported that it was applied successfully to the source, the organization database was not updated.  Reapplying the rollups to the source fixed the issue and I was able to import into the destination.
