    I can set up the  CRM customer portal accelerator hosted on my on premise development environment, but our company website is run by marketing hosted by their web design company. Is there a solution to use the accelerator when your website is not hosted on your server?

    Hi there,

    the website that "comes" with the accelerator is a standard ASP.NET site that accesses CRM via web services. If your hosted web site allows you to run ASP.NET code and your CRM is accessible from outside (using Internet Facing Deployment) then there is nothing to stop you from running the portal website code externally to your CRM. Except that if you separate external website code and CRM then you'll have to pay very close attention to performance and utilise every single bit of cacheing you can.
