CRM 2016 Lightwiegth App - Cant connect to server RRS feed

  • I recently upgrade to CRM 2016 and installed the new lightweight apps. I am able to login and get the certificate but after that I get an error saying "We are unable to connect to your CRM server, please contact your administrator"

    I verified that I am using server-side for incoming email.  I verified my user mailbox is approved and tested successful.  I verified the mail is authorized for the new app.  I can connect via the browser to my CRM.  What am I missing?

    Does anyone know where the log files are located for the new app?  How can I track down the issue?

  • There is also a security option that has to be set under 'business management', did you check that?

    I ran into a problem where our CRM 2015 Update 1 doesn't work because this option does not exist in the Security roles yet?  It's supposed to be there so I may open a ticket with Microsoft to see what's up.
