Restore only recognizes 1 of 3 users RRS feed

  • I was forced to reinstall XP on my hard drive. After re-installing OneCare, I attempted a full restore. But when asked which users to restore files to, only my user name was available. (i.e. I couldn't restore my wife's files to the her new user account, only to my own or the Shared space.) All acounts were named identically. Any notion why OneCare recognized mine but not the rest of my family's? Please help soon, as tehy all suspect foul play on my part. ;)

  • Have you tried restoring the other accounts while logged in to the user account you are restoring to?
