I wonder if anyone could help please. I am currently studying the Microsoft Press MCTS Exam 70-640 Windows Server 2008: Configuring Active Directory book. I am on Chapter 4: Groups but I have found some contradictions in the material and was wondering if there were an errata or addendum available for this book and where I may find it?
Also could someone shed any light on the following from this book:
On page 147 Membership of a Global group is listed as "users, computers and other global groups from the same domain only" and on page 149 the Group Scope table says that Global Groups can only have members from the same domain. The other columns in the table, "Members from another domain in the same forest" and "Members from a trusted external domain" both have N/A against the Global group row.
Yet the lesson review answers, page 882, claim that Global groups can contain users in the same forest and users in trusted domains.
Which is correct please or am I missing something?
