Re-started computer Windows live Onecare does not work RRS feed

  • Question

  • I started subscribing windows live onecare since November 1997, and this is my second year because i just renew my subcrition November of 2008 , I had a problem with my computer this week, so that it will be working again it was been re-started but not re-reprogram, now that I opened my computer though windows live one care performed scanning and tune-up, and it said that they didn't find any virus or treat to my computer but then still, i have the color red which it said my computer is at risk, then when i kept on searching on, the report told me that Windows live Onecare could not check for updates from this computer because my subscription has expired. I wonder why my subscription is ended so soon? for what I know it will be on November this year that I need to renew my subscription. Please help.Thanks.

  • Check to see that your computer date and time is set correctly. If the date or time is incorrect it could cause this issue.

If your subscription to OneCare shows incorrect or expired in OneCare

    • Check your PC date and time.
    • Check your subscription status by logging in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com
    • Confirm that this is the same LiveID shown to be the Subscription ID in OneCare - Help/About…
    • Open OneCare and click "Check for Updates" to have OneCare check for updated credentials

If your subscription is correctly shown at the Billing site, but incorrect in OneCare and your PC date and time are correct, please contact support.
