Purchased A New PC! RRS feed

  • I just purchased a new PC and plan to set it up after Thanksgiving.  I currently have OneCare installed on 3 PC's.  How do I de-activate one so that I can add my new PC to my current subscription?  I am not using version 2.0 yet on any of my computers.  Do I just need to uninstall OneCare from my old PC that I will be selling and then reinstall OneCare on my newly purchased PC or is their more detailed steps I need to take to get my newly purchased PC added to my subscription.  Your assistance is greatly appreciated.  Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Hello Nick, uninstall One Care from the computer you wish to de activate, complete the uninstall survey and you should be ok to install on the new computer.

  • You are correct, Nick. Simply uninstall OneCare from the PC you are selling and install OneCare on the new PC. As long as you only have it installed on 3 computers with the same LiveID, you are indeed within the license terms.
