Save, Save & New, Save & Close buttons disabled for sent and received emails RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have CRM with UR12 onpremise. When an email is sent or received the 'Save', 'Save & Close', 'Save & New' buttons are disabled. And when forcefully trying to save there is an warning message that pops-up which says "The activity is closed. After the record is saved, you cannot change the business required fields. Do you want to continue?"

    We have disabled all the custom code(javascript) used in here, but still the issue continues. Can anyone help us out please?

  • Hello,

    When emails are sent or received they are in completed state (This is OOB functionality) so you can't edit them, if you want to update it you need to reopen it.

  • Thanks Mahender, but we can save/edit a Sent or Received emails.

    The issue was due to addition of 'Activity Status' field on the Email form. Removal of this field from the form enabled the Save, Save & New and Save & Close buttons.
