Update Live Mesh Client

Question
-
I'm currently using mesh client version 0.9.3424.5
I have seen in the blogs that there should be version 0.9.3424.9 avalible - however, if I right-click the tray-icon ad select "Check for updates" Mesh keeps telling me that I'm up to date.
How can i install the new version?
Do I need to remove the current version of the Mesh Client and install it again from mesh.com? Is this safe or will it remove my current syhcnronization settings?
thanks in advance,

"Live Desktop" is the the desktop "in the cloud", not on your desktop computer.
From the Dec 4 blog post: "This update affects the Live Desktop, Live Mesh for Mac, and Live Mesh for Mobile. We will release an update for the Live Mesh for Windows software next week." So at that time the update for the Windows client wasn't availale yet.
In a Dec 8 update post the team wrote that they entered a blackout period for the holiday season so the Windows client update will be delayed until early January.
However the Mesh bar is hidden by default in 0.9.3424.5, this was introduced in the currently available version of the Windows client. If you see the bar expanded by default but have the latest available version, this might be a bug.

My version is also 0.9.3424.5.
Quote from the blog: "With the release of the updated Live Mesh for Mobile version 0.9.3424.9 ...". So I guess the .9 version is for the Mobile client only, not the Windows client.

Hi Stefan,
thanks for the reply.
From the Blog:
Dec 04 2008: We're pleased to announce that our next update will be available later today.
... the latest version numbers with this update are:
... Live Desktop: 0.9.3424.9
I just came accross this as I saw in the Known Issues list, that the companion bar for mesh folders on the desktop is now hidden by default which dosen't apply to my mesh client. So I'm under impression that the .5 client is outdated. But maybe we need to wait for new year...
thanks,
