assign the owner field of an item to a team?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was any way to ssign the owner field of an item to a team?

If so, how would i go about doing something like this?

In Addition to mahendar answer, the owner of any record can be a single user(systemuser entity).

you can however share records with the team with the permission you want (read, write etc).

you can't assign record to team in ms crm 4.0
