Communicator Web Access: Telephony RRS feed

  • CWA is supposed to allow you to set call forwarding and view incoming calls if you are an Enterprise PBX enabled user (RCC doesn't work apparently).


    My user is configured for Enterprise Voice with PBX integration (CCM & CUPS) which just about works find with MOC in that I see inbound calls and can set the forwarding. When I log into the web access I don't see the green phone symbol or any of the telephony menus, so can't control forwarding and I don't see inbound calls.


    I thought it might have been some cached user details, but a bounce of the CWA server hasn't helped. Everything else works in CWA just fine (IM, contacts, presence etc).


    Has anyone come across this before, or at least got this working?

  • if you go to http://www.ocspedia.com/CWA_Srvr.htm ... there is a section "Features of MOC 2007 what CWA doesnt support".. it clearly says that audio communication is not possible through CWA... even CWA guide says same thing..

  • No, it's not audio / video I want (this is definitely not available via CWA), but the PBX call forwarding feature - this is mentioned on pages 35 onwards in the CWA getting started guide.

    If a user is enabled for UC then the option should appear!!!

    What do you mean by "UC"? My user has Enterprise Voice + PBX Integration switched on and working fine with the normal MOC desktop client.
