How to Increase storage for "client computer backup"" RRS feed

    I notice that there is only one "client computer backup" folder.. when that is full on that disk,, what happens ?

    Can another area be made without destroying the original or ?

    Can another disk be somehow appended to continue the same backups ? etc

    I have 3 2gb disks on the server..  I just added a 4th 2gb hd.. 

    Is there a way to use the 4th disk I just added, for _backup_.

     I do realize it can be used as storage, but I have lots of room for that...

    I must be missing something or is the RC limited ?

    I'm assuming u mean 2TB HDD's. only way to increase this is to move the folder to one of the HDD's on its own. that way it'll have a full 2TB all on its own. this is one of the situations where u miss the drive extender.

    I think, you could convert the disk with the client computer backup folder to a dynamic disk and extend the volume to another disk. This will increase the risk of data loss due to a disk failure, of course.
