My Forums Threads results in Internal Server Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Trying to go to "My Forums Threads" today gives me this:

Microsoft Developer Network > Forums Home >  Internal Server Error
Sorry, we were unable to service your request. Please try again later.

Not sure what more I can report about it.  I guess I'll just have to try again later like it says, but it would sure be nice if I got more information than just "Internal Server Error".  It's weird because so much of the rest of the forums seems so be working fine.

  • Are you still able to reproduce this behavior? It may be resolved. If not what browser and OS are you using?

It lasted a couple of hours then fixed itself.  If it was maintenance, then the error message should have said that.  I'd be less likely to report it if I knew it was intentional.

FYI it was Chrome on Win 7 64 pro.

  • at the moment I get this error message when accessing

SQL Sever Data Tools Forum http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ssdt/threads

when will all those annoying bugs be fixed.

Unbelievable that a company like MS is not able to get those issues under control.

a long time ago MS closed news group servers (nntp) with argument that server are no longer manageable and the forum  will give much more benefit - are we now at the same situation that the forums are no longer manageable and what technology will replace it?
