UPNP Router RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All

I have a Linksys Wireless router but WHS is not able to configure the router itself using UPNP.

Who is having what success with their router.  What is it and is it available in the UK?

    Cheers

  • You can always configure the router manually. It's what I do. Otherwise, the closest you'll come to a list of compatible routers is the Vista list.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • Ken, do you have or can you point me to a "white Paper" on "how to manually configure a router?  I have a Linksys WRT310N and just can't seem to get port forwarding to work.

  • Every router is different, so no there's no generic white paper on this configuration. You'll find instructions for configuring just about every router known to man on the site portforward.com, though.
