We are making progress on our deployment, thank you all for answering my questions. I have found in our test environment Communicator is giving a notification of - Exchange Connection Error.
This is the message that I get - Communicator is in the process of connecting to the exchange server. This process may take a few minutes....
In about 20 seconds, Communicator connects fine, and the notification goes away.
Is there a way I can turn off this notification or a way to speed up the process of connecting? I have a feeling that users will flood the IT support staff with concerns.
Communicator connects to Exchange Webservices in the background This is HTTP(s) traffic and takes longer to establish I guess you are using Virtualization technology for your test environment, mind that Exchange Webservices take a longer time to connect the first time after some idle time- Belgian Unified Communications Community : http://www.pro-exchange.be -
