Optionset display CRM 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is it possible to show all the values in an option set in CRM 2013?
When we click on an option set, it shows some values but not all of them.

    option set

The users have to scroll all the way down in the (small displayed) list.
Is it possible to display it bigger, so you can see more values when clicking on the option set?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Alexander,

CRM 2013 changed the option-set rendering to show it up like that. Well, a lot of people are kind of p***ed of with that; but I don't think there's any supported way to do what you're trying to do; basically getting the old style back.

  • A workaround (in some cases) is to add some spacer under the optionset field

  • If your option set is near the bottom of a section, it will get cut off like your example screenshot.

Moving it so it is further away from the bottom of a section will display more options (in other words, don't make it the last field in a section).

I think this is what is addressed in UR2 when it says "Depending on the placement of an option set field in a section of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 form, the number of visible options is limited, and the user has to scroll to see the remaining options."

    Hope this helps.

  • Insert the field anywhere on the form instead of the bottom of the form and also add some spaces under the field.
