Is it possible to support customized reporting based on selected SR fields ?

  Yes it is , you have multiple options, if the reports are simple you can use built in report wizard to create a reports, you may be able to use advance find to do that for tabular data. You can use business intelligent studio (Visual studio) for complecated reports
