    My Windows Security Centre is has come up red to say I have no Malware protection even though I have up to date Kaspersky Internet Anti Virus 2011, not sure how to overcome this issue hope someone can help me out

    If you are paying for Kaspersky you are paying for their support too.  You should go to the Kaspersky forums or their other Support for help, not to the forums for a now defunct Microsoft antimalware product.
