  • I had actually just installed DirectX through the WebInstall, and saw a game I thought I might want to try too. It was Carioca Rummy (Also through the MS site)

    I've JUST installed all of my programs after a pretty bad crash, so it may just be from all of the programs at once. I have been having problems with a particular update... Here is my err history:

    There has been a rash of TTS errors recently which appear to have in common  the fact that Avast is installed as the Anti-Virus.
    If this is the case with you, then I suggest that you uninstall it, and run their cleanup tool. hopefully that will get rid of the notification. You can then install an alternative AV such as MSE or AVG.
