Hi all,
I am getting this message pop up every time I open Outlook "One or more email messages in Microsoft Dynamics CRM are waiting to be sent. Do you want Microsoft Dynamics CRM to send email through Outlook?"
When I click yes it begins sending all the automatic workflow emails from the CRM. These date back to November last year (it's now March) and are clogging up my staff's inbox. As these are all now irrelevant emails I'd like to clear out all the pending
emails that are no longer required to be sent.
I have had this issue before and previously I navigated to "Activities" -> "Emails" -> "My Pending Emails"
In this view I was able to see and delete all the emails that were actually pending to be sent (relating to the pop up in Outlook I was getting). However when I have tried that this time I am getting the advice that "No Email records are available
in this view".
There is another drop down from which I can select "All", "Overdue", "Today or Earlier", "Next 7 days", "Next 12 Months" etc but in every single view I get the same message that no email records are available..
I have spoken to our IT company about it but they advised me to follow the above process (to the My Pending Emails), when that didn't work they looked at the settings in Outlook (all good apparently). As we couldn't work out what was wrong we decided to
just let it run and send all the old emails.
But staff are constantly complaining as, like I mentioned, these emails are from November! So I can't let it run anymore. My concern though is the longer I don't let it run the more emails that are backing up in the system and nothing is getting sent.
We are using Dynamics CRM 2015. Any suggestions??
(Note: I'm pretty tech savvy and confident in trying most things but you may have to give them to me in lay mans terms!)
Thanks!
Amy
