    I'm Planning to take the 70-461 soon. I DON'T plan on taking 462 and 463. I am an analyst for a health insurance company. My job only requires querying. It is not my plan to become a DBA- I just want to prove my competency at querying to future employers.

    My question is: Is there a stand alone certificate to prove/or show (on my resume) that i've taken and passed 70-461?

    The exam will appear on your MCP transcript which can be downloaded from the MCP site.  You can also setup Transcript Sharing which allows someone to validate your transcript using a Transcript ID and Access Code (which are created during the setup process).

    Yes. You get a certificate for passing the exam. But i don't know if it is a MCTS. But for sure you get a score report and can download the transscript from the mcp website.

    Actually you won't get a certificate.  You'll only get a certificate when you complete all the exams required for MCSA or MCSE

    I've checked with a couple of people who have passed this exam and they've stated that no certification is available for purchase or download.

    So basically, there's no record of you having passed the exam unless you take 462 and 463?
