I have read and tried every suggestion and have had no luck.I purchased windows live one online.They talk about uninstalling and reinstalling using a cd. I don't have a cd.Do I have to buy that now.

Can anyone help me?

Hello Mrs. Fernandez, if you have not already done so, try the firewall repair tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2468376&SiteID=2
If the repair tool does not resolve the issue and you want to reinstall One Care first uninstall One Care using add/remove programs, then run the install cleanup tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2. To reinstall One Care go to the subscriber download site - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/3/subscribers/addcomputer.htm and follow the instructions to reinstall One Care. Once installed, open OneCare, click Subscribe and sign in with the Live ID and password used to purchase your One Care subscription.
