How to code this powershell script? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Recently, my internet setting is changed from PPPop into DHCP, and following code in powershell script is no longer applied,  I would like to know on how to code and reset the connection for DHCP using powershell script.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance for any suggestions :>

    For PPPop setting

    if ((20,40,60,80,100) -contains $i)
      {
       rasdial ABC /disconnect
       Start-Sleep -Second 2
       rasdial ABC username password
      }

    Thanks in advance for any suggestions

  • Sorry.  This is a Windows Admin scripting forum.  DO you have a scripting question?

    For issues with third party software please post in the vendor's forum or contact their support.

  • Just a note. RAS knows nothing about how a RA connection works,  It just takes you connection and executes it.

    If you are having issues you need to contact the provider of the RAS service and ask them to give you a new connection file (dialer or phonebook entry.

    The RAS connection file is specific to the vendors service.  It is not manageable from PowerShell.
