  I started SharePoint Administration by first downloading the software and install it. Here is the process...

  1. Download SharePoint 2010 Installation Guide [http://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/download/details.aspx?id=10009 OR http://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/download/details.aspx?id=27209]
  2. Download SharePoint 2010 Software [http://technet.microsoft.com/en-sg/evalcenter/ee388573.aspx]
  3. Setup your environment using the software and reference the installation guide
  4. Read some more materials and test it against your lab [http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/book.aspx?id=14586]
