MCSA 2012 to MCSE 2012 or MCSA 2016

Hi everyone!

i am here looking for an answer. i am MCSA 2012 (since Aug 2017) and my question is, that what exam i should take to get MCSE 2012 or MCSA 2016. Ive heard that if i take 70-743 after MCSA 2012 i will get MCSE 2012 cert and MCSA 2016 cert also. i dont understand what i will have if i pass the 70-743.

all i want is new Microsoft policy for

MCSA 2012 to MCSE 2012

and

MCSA 2012 to MCSA 2016.

anybody help please.

The 70-743 is an upgrade exam for MCSA 2012 to MCSA 2016. If you are looking to get your MCSE you will need to take a different exam completely. Also note, the MCSE is the same for Server 2012 and Server 2016. Depending on which exam you take for the MCSE, it might be more focused toward 2012 or 2016.
