  • I recently bought a new laptop and a Win starter 7 to go with it. But the laptop crashed and I had it replaced after a few days. Now I can't have my Windows 7 validated. It's a Win starter 7 SP1 32-bit English SEA 1pk

    Windows License Type: OEM System Builder

    Be aware that OEM System Builder copies are not transferrable to a different computer.  That is the meaning of the message you are seeing.  The activation center may decline to activate your key.  In that case you will need to purchase a full license copy of Windows.  Do not purchase another OEM System Builder copy.  SB copies are only for companies to install on computers for sale, not for end users.
