BSOD bugcheck 1001 RRS feed

  • Kept getting the "BSOD" and took my computer back to origional settings. I had thought something was wrong with the USB drive I kept using, because it seemed connected. Didn't have any trouble for about a week, then today BSOD. And no USB was connected. I recieved the following report:

  • The Stop 0x000000D1 (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) indicates that a kernel-mode driver attempted to access (for reading, as indicated by the value of the third parameter) pageable memory at a process IRQL that was too high.
    This bug check is usually caused by drivers that have used improper addresses.

    Upload the .DMP file to your SkyDrive and post the address here so we can analyze it and try to understand the problem and suggest you a solution.
