Windows 7 Pro w/SP1 x64 deactivated itself

Question
-
I'm not exactly sure when my copy of Windows 7 deactivated itself, but I believe it was after one of the automatic Windows updates. This has happened before and I've resolved the issue by simply reactivating. That worked for some time, but now this issue has reoccurred. Below are the results of my diagnostic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the product key in use is the default key windows uses when no key is entered during install and can not be activated.
you will have to enter a genuine pro key.
click start, type slui 3, press enter.
are you using any registry cleaners or speed up my pc type of programs? if so name them.
sometimes these things are associated with these issues.

1) Click Start and in the Search box type: slui.exe 4
2) Next press the 'ENTER' key
3) Select your 'Country' from the list.
4) Choose the 'Phone Activation' option.
5) Stay on the phone (do not respond to any of the automated prompts) and wait for a person to help you with activation.
6) Politely explain your problem clearly to the support person and they will help you resolve your issue.
