Hi
I ll give you a general idea about certifications concerning SQL server, then I will avise you which path you take and how to proceed to lunch the certification process
There are three branches concerning SQL server 2005/2008
1. The administration branch
In this field the user would be able to manage sql server instances over networks, manage credentials which one has which right, makes back up and recovery plans and so forth
2. The development branch
In this field user would bild skills about develop data bases, he or shes concerned by data base morphology, how to build smart and optimized queries, stored procedures and so forth
3. The busieness inteligence branch
Concerning this field, one should have skills on three sub domains integration services(concists of extract transform and load data from one place to other place), Analyse services(Parce data and extract the meaning of that data using what is called cubes) and finally Reporting services as the name mensiones it concerns building reports like crystal reports if you have any idea about this product
Well, for your case I advise you take the second field
To proceed you have to browse to
http://www.prometric.com/default.htm
Those are recommended official centers in india
http://www.register.prometric.com/Centers.asp
You can contact them, they will give you further info about training and exam test procedure
Good luck

Hi Naveen,
You got multiple questions.
1. Microsoft Exams are provided around the world by Prometric. Please acccess to http://www.prometric.com/Microsoft/APACIT.htm.
2. If you want to learn about T-SQL technologies, you can take some Instructor Lead Training in your area, like Global Knowledge (they show no offices in India). Microsoft Courses include T-SQL in the courses. There are some T-SQl dedicated courses such as MOCs 2778 (SQL 2008) or 2325 (SQL 2000). You can buy Microsoft Press books ( http://learning.microsoft.com/Manager/BrowseResults.aspx?qry=t-sql&nav=0&btn=1 ) and buy one in any place you like.
3. If you want to go further and take some exams and to complete a DBA certification go to http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-sql-server.aspx#tab2 for the last information. More info on http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/default.aspx
Where do you want to go today?
