Email unsubscribe not working in CRM 2016 RRS feed

  • I have appropriate settings in System Settings, I create a Quick Campaign email with an unsubscribe link. Email goes out, recipient clicks "unsubscribe"; it pops an email to originator, sends the unsubscribe response to originator. Originator tracks email. Verified the recipient has unique email address.

    Record is not updated. What am I missing? this should be simple out of the box capability. Any help is appreciated.
