WHS 2011 - Assigning Drive to Backup Client PC RRS feed

    Greetings - I am just getting going with WHS 2011. At this point, my largest drive is 500 GB. (USB external drive) I would like to store my PC backups to that drive. How to I point my backups to that particular drive?

    If you have allocated that drive to Server storage (it will have a drive letter) rather than Server backup, use the Dashboard to move the location of Client Computer Backups to that drive letter.

    Hello Phil,

    Thank you - all went well. I wasn't aware it was simply a matter of moving the foler. I was trying to "appoint" a drive to be the client backup drive.
