How to monitor CPU temperature in Windows Server 2019? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to monitor CPU temperature in Windows Server 2019. I tried to install different applications like SpeedFan but it seems that it is not compatible with WS 2019 whereas it is simply installed on WS 2012 without any problem (image below). Can you please help me? Is there any better app which is compatible with WS 2019?

  • Hi,

As I know there is no official tool for monitoring CPU temperature, so seems that only third party software could achieve your desire.

If you run SpeedFun on Windows Server 2012 well before, we could right click the software and choose properties, to run as compatibility mode if it has. Or you could try real temp or AIDA64 Extreme which states they support Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 have same structure with Windows 10, so should be fit for you.

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your feedback.

How about trying to monitor CPU with PowerShell script? Try to check if it works on Windows Server 2019.

PowerShell – Monitor CPU Cores Temperatures

  • Thanks for your response but it does not show anything about temperature. Should I do anything else?

  • Thanks for your response, but as I mentioned in my last post, I don't see any information about CPU Temperature in this app. How can I see CPU core temperature using this app or any other app or application?
