Dynamics CRM Online and Exchange for queues RRS feed

  • CRM allows for assigning email addresses for queues. This feature requires the integration of CRM with MS Exchange via a connector.
    It works fine on version "on premise".
    The question is therefore how to reproduce this behavior with an online version of CRM and Exchange Onpremise.

  • You would download and install the email router just as you would with on-premise CRM. When you come to configuring it, choose the CRM online option when setting up your CRM deployment in the router config manager. 

    The 'Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server' box should contain a link made up using the CRM Online discovery service URL and your CRM online 'Organization Unique Name'. You can find them both under Settings\Customizations\Developer Resources. The server link is then built up using the 2 sections highlighted here e.g. https://dev.crm4.dynamics.com/crm4orgXXXdb

    For the Exchange incoming and outgoing configuration profiles, you just need to select the version of Exchange you use from the drop-down and configure it as in this guide.
