I know that MS gives retail customers 45 days to return software. Exceptions are any software purchased through a volume reseller or that came pre-installed on a PC. Buyer must contact the reseller or OEM. I get all that. What I want to know is if the
volume reseller or OEM from whom I purchased the equipment can return software that has been de-activated and uninstalled from my PC. Because the guy I bought my PC from says he can't return the software. I need to know if he's telling me the truth. So, to
clarify, will MS accept returns from volume resellers or OEMs who purchased the software from MS?
