In Domain Citations and Citations RRS feed

  • Question

  • There is a big difference in the number between in domain citations and citations, in the rank list, there should be no distinction between them. The citations from other domains are also important, especially for some domains that are not very large. From my point of view, the citations should be used instead of the in domain citations for the ranking.

  • I mean the 'in domain citations' should count all the publications from your listed journals and conferences in computer science, not only from the sub-domain. I cannot understand why there are so large difference between citations and in domain citations.
